Short answer
Ask seven things: batch cap, speaking minutes, GST, named teacher, what the free session actually is (class, pitch, or counselling), review patterns, and certificate vs speaking. Run them on us too.
Most “best institute” pages in India are written by the institute. This is a 10-check you can run on anyone — us included — in one week, using public numbers: fees, batch cap, Google review *patterns*, and a consultation you can count.
The 10 checks
- Headcount, not “small batch”. Ask how many learners usually join. Six and 35 can both be called small. If a provider will not give a number, assume the room is crowded.
- Speaking minutes. In a 60-minute class, your mic ≈ (40 minutes) ÷ (headcount). See the math.
- GST and lock-in. Advertised ₹2,000 + 18% + materials is not ₹2,000. Monthly UPI beats a 12-month cheque.
- Named teacher. Apps rotate. Franchise rooms rotate. A teacher who remembers your article errors is a different product.
- What the free session actually is. A class you speak in, a counsellor pitch, or counselling that names your bottleneck. If they only pitch, leave. Ours is a small-batch consultation with personalised advice — what you get.
- Google reviews as patterns, not stars. Read the 3-star comments. They name batch size, fees, and “I never spoke”. 5-star walls with no specifics are ads.
- Certificate vs speaking. Visa/university → British Council or similar. Job interview in India → they will judge you in 60 seconds, not your PDF. We do not issue a certificate; we say so.
- Months paid today. One month, not a year. If the discount needs 6–12 months upfront, the discount is the trap. We bill one month at a time.
- Loans, EMIs and auto-debit. No EMI form, no saved card, no UPI mandate. A subscription you did not switch on keeps charging after you stop. We have none of these.
- Refund rule in writing. Ask for it on WhatsApp before you pay. Ours: a month cancelled before its first class is refunded in full, started within 2 working days. More in Before you pay.

How to read Google reviews without getting played
- Ignore the average until you have 50+ reviews. Our 5.0★ from 125 is a small, local sample. EngVarta’s 4.5★ from 9,100+ Play reviews is a different dataset. Do not compare them as the same unit.
- Search the word “batch”. If learners complain they never spoke, the star rating is lying.
- Search “GST”, “material”, “registration”. Hidden rupees show up here, not in the 5-star pile.
- Named outcomes beat adjectives. “Salary doubled in 4 months, Pune CS role” is evidence. “Best institute in India” is not.

One week, three options — count the right unit
Book us, one 1:1 app, and one classroom or brand group. With the app and the classroom, count minutes you spoke. - “Is ₹999 too cheap to be real?” Inclusive of taxes, batch of around 6, up to 2 live classes a week. You are paying for a seat and a named teacher, not a mall and a certificate wall.
- “Can I start next week?” Usually yes. Message for the next IST slot. Get a free consultation first — we diagnose the room before we seat you.
- “Do you issue a certificate?” No. Indian interviews hear you. Visas read an exam-board score — sit IELTS with the test board; we do not sell that paper. Market fees: IELTS coaching fees.
What we fail, on purpose
We are the wrong buy for children under 14, for anyone who needs a walk-in campus, and for anyone who only wants daily 1:1 minutes with no syllabus. Beginners who still cannot form a sentence should not buy a conversation app first — start with Spoken English for beginners.
