### For parents — safety, privacy, who we message

Clear rules, not a certificate stamp. This is how the kids and teen rooms actually run.

#### Parent is the customer

Fees, WhatsApp and class recordings sit on the parent’s number. The child does not need a phone. You join the free demo on camera.

#### Privacy, as written

We do not publish children’s photos or class recordings. We do not run ads aimed at children. Under 18, a parent or guardian must enrol.

#### Rooms never mixed

Kids 6–11, teens 12–17 and adult rooms (15+) are separate batches. A 12-year-old is never placed with working adults.

#### How class is kept safe

6–11: parent within earshot of the room. 12–17: parent informed of the slot. No 1:1 video with a child unless the parent stays on the call.

Legal & compliance

#### India — DPDP Act, 2023

For anyone under 18, a parent or guardian is the person we contract with and message. Enrolment needs that parent’s consent. Child data is not used for ads. See Privacy.

#### Global learners, same rules

Indians abroad join the same IST rooms. We do not claim a COPPA, GDPR or children’s-privacy certificate. The parent remains the account holder. Indian law and the pages below govern the contract.

Enrolment follows our Privacy, Terms, Refunds and Child Protection pages as written. We do not claim a safeguarding certificate, a government seal, or a foreign children’s-privacy badge. The parent remains the account holder. FAQs

## Spoken English for Teens — Questions & Answers

Anything else? Message anytime — WhatsApp replies during 09:00–12:00 IST.

### Is this the adult Spoken English room at ₹999?

No. Ages 12–17 sit in this teen batch. Kids 6–11 have their own room. Adult Spoken English is 15+ and work-oriented. A 15–17-year-old can take this teen room (school and college English) or the adult room if the parent and teen both want work English — they are never mixed in one batch.

### Who do you message?

The parent. Fees, recordings and WhatsApp sit on the parent’s number. The teen joins the live class and the free demo; they do not need their own WhatsApp for enrolment.

### Will this raise board marks or give a certificate?

No. This is live speaking practice for class, interviews and everyday talk. We do not issue a school certificate, we do not promise marks, and we do not sell 30-day fluency.

### What if they are shy and say nothing for two weeks?

That is who the batch is for. Turns are short and named. Nobody is put on a stage cold. If after the demo the teen clearly does not want the seat, say so — a silent teenager in a live room is a wasted fee.

### What if we miss a class?

The recording is shared with the parent. A reschedule can be requested only within the same week and only if a seat exists.

### How much do spoken English classes for teenagers cost in India?

Learn With Smile charges ₹999 per month, inclusive of taxes, for Spoken English for Teens (ages 12–17): live evening batches of about 6, 1 hr 30 min classes twice a week, for 6 months. 1:1 teen platforms often cost more per hour; British Council secondary terms are billed per 34-hour block. This is a small live group, not 1:1 and not a certificate course.

### Should a 16-year-old join the teen room or the adult Spoken English class?

If the goal is school presentations, orals and a college interview chair, use Spoken English for Teens at ₹999/month. If they already speak and want workplace English with adults, the parent can ask for the 15+ Spoken English room instead. We do not put a 12–14-year-old in an adult batch.

### Does the teenager have to join the demo?

Yes. The parent books it; the teen should be on camera. A seat only works if they will actually speak. The parent stays on WhatsApp for fees and recordings.
